The top part takes a regular 3-way bulb, and the bottom part of the lamp is a night light. It could have come from JC Penneys back in 1990 or so.

Question by Michael K: Was watching “KYLE XY”. Noticed some really cool acrylic floor lamps in the geek scene. Where can I get those?
They were in the geek scene “rec room” at the college of genuises (2-16-09 episode). Some were in primary colors, very “retro” modern floor lamps. They looked a little like giant skinny mushrooms. I know my furniture artists, but could not for the life of me put know my finger on the designers name. They looked to be over 5 feet tall. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

(Sorry just covering my ars) This is a video showing you how to replace the little pop up target light on the front of your Technics SL MK2 turntable to an LED. the advantages to this are, the LEDs draw less power, they are brighter, they have a longer life span and as an added bonus they work out cheaper in the first place. By the way the LEDs on my decks look blue but they are actually white, they look blue on the camera because they have a high colour temperature. Order codes: Order code for maplin led: N28BY = WHITE.
